Dr Bohn is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity conditions in both children and adults. As a member of the ROCKET group she is committed to improving the diagnosis, treatment, and long term outcomes of Osteochondritis Dissecans and other elbow problems in growing athletes and active patients.
Her clinical practice focuses on pediatric and adult hand and upper extremity surgery, congenital hand differences, and pediatric and adult elbow conditions. She cares for patients with a wide range of issues from congenital differences to complex trauma and sports related injuries. Families value her clear explanations, collaborative approach, and attention to function in daily life and sport.
Dr Bohn also has strong interests in medical education and clinical research. She is actively involved in training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons and participates in studies aimed at improving care for patients with hand and elbow disorders.
Dr Bohn earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1999. She completed her internship in surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, followed by residency in orthopaedic surgery and a fellowship in hand surgery at the University of Minnesota. She is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with additional certification in surgery of the hand.
She practices at TRIA Orthopedic Center in Bloomington, Minnesota, and cares for patients at Methodist Hospital in Saint Louis Park when hospital based treatment is needed.
